FV Code Highlighter 2.1

Today marks the release of FV Code Highlighter 2.1. This version contains several internal code improvements. It also is no longer compatible with PHP versions lower than 7.0.

New is the option to put the plugin in dark mode. While in dark mode, highlighted code will be placed on a dark background. Highlighting colors will be changed for this mode so they look good on the dark background. See the example below:

<?php

final class FvCodeHighlighter
{
    /**
     * Register activation/deactivation hooks.
     *
     */
    public function __construct()
    {
        \register_activation_hook(__FILE__, [static::class, 'activation']);
        \register_deactivation_hook(__FILE__, [static::class, 'deactivation']);
    }

    /**
     * Activation Hook
     *
     * @return void
     */
    public static function activation(): void
    {
        \do_action('fvch_activation');
        \register_uninstall_hook(__FILE__, [static::class, 'uninstall']);
    }

    /**
     * Deactivation Hook
     *
     * @return void
     */
    public static function deactivation(): void
    {
        \do_action('fvch_deactivation');
    }

    /**
     * Uninstall Hook
     *
     * @return void
     */
    public static function uninstall(): void
    {
        \do_action('fvch_uninstall');
    }
}
